My name is Belle French. Books are my passion, the written word speaks to me in a way that I can't describe. I'm from a land filled with magic and wonder. It is beautiful, lush green forests and crystal clear lakes as far as the eye can see. I was ripped from my homeland, a powerful curse sending myself and other inhabitants of my land to a strange place where the water is far from clear and the forests are small and barely visible.
We were trapped in a town we came to know as Storybrooke, kept secret from the rest of the magic-less world we found ourselves in. I have no way of knowing when I will return to my beloved homeland, and I have lost the one person I thought I would have with me forever. My husband, a gentle, caring man with a lust for power, has betrayed me. I thought I saw a good in him that no one else saw, but I was wrong. I forced him to leave our town, so he could not harm anyone else or myself any longer He is now trapped on the outside, unable to return. The worst of it is.....I love him, with my whole heart and soul, and I'm pregnant with his child.
I keep to myself mostly. The only acquaintances I have are because they are in acquaintance with my husband, and of course my family. I am open to starting new friendships, and I am always looking for someone to share my passion for books. The library is always open to book lovers and I could always use some help running it if anyone is interested.
