Lestat scowled. "I do not care to venture out alone Louis. If I did you would be in the ground, and not standing before me. No one enjoys being alone, especially if they have been alone for years." Lestat followed Louis from the room and to the staircase. "Besides, where would I venture? The city is disgusting and full of yankees."

Louis chuckled slightly and began climbing the stair case. "Well, I'm not sure. But I do think it would good," he paused, glancing back at Lestat briefly before speaking again. "For both of us....if you weren't attached to my hip." He climbed in silence, his hands swaying at his sides.

Lestat scowled. "I am not attached to your hip." He muttered. He was using Louis for his money, to give his blind father a good end of his life, he wasn't attached. You stole him a high quality coffin. Lestat scowled further and continued following Louis upstairs. "Yankees do not suit my palette."

Louis had approached the top of the stair case and opened the small wooden door to reveal his brightly lit home. "Ah, yes. What is wrong with yankees." he said, holding the door open for Lestat to walk through. "Do they taste to much of ale for your sensitive pallet?" He flashed a very small smile that vanished almost instantly.

Lestat sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yankees have a horrible taste to them, you know this. I am a vampire with taste, unlike some." Lestat ceased talking when they entered the main part of the house. There were far too many ears about, and the servants didn't need to know about Louis and himself.

Louis walked about the house in silence for a few moments before finally finding himself in the dinning room, a large amount of food scattered across the table top. He swallowed hard, wondering how he was going to get out of eating this time, and made his way to the head of the table where his place was already set.

Lestat wandered into the dining room shortly after Louis and sat down at the opposite end of the table, before he shifted in his chair and propped his feet up on the corner of the table, his ankles crossed over each other. Louis was deadly silent, and studying the food in front of him a little too heavily. Lestat rolled his eyes and reached for a bunch of grapes. He hardly remembered the taste, and he knew the food would be like ash in his tongue now. He shrugged and pulled a grape off of the bunch before tossing it down the table at Louis.

Louis felt a small, round object hit him in the arm and glanced over at the tiny grape the now rested near his elbow. He glared over at Lestat and shook his head slightly. He picked up his fork and started playing with the small pile of greens on his plate.

Lestat chuckled happily and threw another grape, all the while aiming for Louis' wineglass. However he had horrid aim. The grapes continued to bounce off of Louis, and his plate, and the large roast in the middle of the table. Lestat was giggling the entire time, as though he was having the time of his life.

Louis continued exchanging blank glances with Lestat from across the table, not at all amused with the game he had somehow stumbled into. "Lestat." He placed his fork down on the small napkin next to his plate and leaning back in his chair, just in time for a grape to him in directly in the face.

Lestat smirked and rolled his head back and more laughter bubbled from his throat. "Yes Louis?" There was still a few grapes left on the bunch and Lestat continued throwing them across the table, throwing both arms up when one finally landed in Louis' wine glass.

He was getting extremely frustrated now. When a solitary grape landed in his glass, splattering wine all over the table, she snapped, clutching a hand full of grapes off the table and tossing them across the table directly at Lestat. "Will....you....stop...it." he said, each word following a respectable grape toss.

Lestat grabbed his empty plate and used it to bat the projectile grapes away from him. "I was having fun Louis, you should try it some time, wipe that sour look off of your face." Lestat grabbed a grape that had landed near him and chucked it back down the table at Louis.

Louis covered his face with one of his hands and sighed, immensely tired of Lestat's ridiculous behavior. He had simply wanted to sit down to a quiet dinner and pretend to eat it. "I'm going back to bed." he said in a hushed tone, the palm of his hand muffling his voice.
