Louis chuckled and knelt down beside her, turning her body so that she was facing him. Deep down he new that her room was not mature enough for her. However, at the time, when they had decorated it seemed only fitting for a small child to be set up in a room like hers. Then again, she wasn't really a child was she. At this point, she was merely a grown woman trapped in the body of a little girl. She looked like an innocent child, but she was ever bit as grown and mature as he and Lestat, and they owned her that recognition.
He gazed up at her face and smirked. A smile. Exactly what he had been hoping for. "It can be anything you want, my love." he said, smiling up at her and brushing a bit of loose hair behind her ear again. "You say the word and it's yours."

Although ultimately she wanted to leave New Orleans, she supposed that this would definitely suffice for now. She'd be looking at something than other than the same room that she had been staring at for decades. When he had turned her to face him, and he told her that she could have anything she wanted for her bedroom, her lips curved in to a bright smile. "Oh, Papa!" She flung her arms around his shoulders, squeezing him in a tight hug. "Thank you.. this means so much to me! It won't make Papa Lestat angry..will it?"
She knew that he wanted to see her still as a little girl...and try as she might, she couldn't keep that mentality for the rest of her existence.

Louis smirked and hugged Claudia back taking a deep breath and chuckling a little when she asked about Lestat. While he knew that Lestat might be a little uneasy about the fact that Louis had promise their daughter he would spend more money one her, he knew that he would be able to calm him. He brought her head up to look at him and smiled up at her. "You leave him to me, my love. I'll see to it that he doesn't interfere with our plans."

Room redecorating. It was a statement that Claudia had wanted to make for quite some time, but she never knew exactly how to do it. "Okay, so," she started to think out loud, talking to both herself and Louis at the same time. "How...how would a woman make her room look, Papa? Emerald greens, and blacks, I think would be nice!" She rushed toward her dresser, and she picked up a small music box. She opened it up, and for a long moment, she listened to the tune silently. The music was starting to fade since she had listened to it so much.. she had used it to sleep. "Maybe even a new coffin? A bigger one?" Of course she didn't need a large coffin..but it would make her feel better.
She swayed from side to side to the music coming from the small box. The ballerina inside of it was twirling a little slower these days. "And we'll have to do something with the bed sheets. They're far too frilly." She paused, and pursed her lips. "No..no they're not. They just need to be more...more grown up."

Louis listened intently as she spoke, watching her face light up as she mentioned different ideas and prospects for the new bedroom she was to acquire. He let out soft chuckles after she said something he found amusing or adorable, keeping his gentle sounds to himself, however, so she would think he was laughing at her. After she had finished speaking, he finally opened his mouth, grateful for the chance to answer some of the questions she had asked him with no real pause for him to respond.
"Those colors sound lovely dear, however they are hard to come by in some things, so you may have to reconsider those. As far as a coffin, Lestat is not going to be happy having to....procure a new one, but I'll see to it that it is done. We will do away with the bed sheets and I will personally pick out a set that matches your personality and maturity."
