Christine's voice nearly wavered when she watched as the portcullis rose from the water, but she managed to keep her tune steady. She wondered in the back of her mind where they were going..but she could see candles as they approached what she guessed to be their destination. The aria came to an end, and she allowed her voice to settle around her. She could hear the soft echo of the last note she had sang lingering around her, bouncing off the cavern esque walls.

Erik smiled happily as the aria ended. He clapped his hands and continued smiling as he helped her to her feet so that she could get out of the boat. "Welcome to my humble abode child." He ushered her onto dry land, and then he released her hands as soon as she was steady. "That aria was perfection."

Christine smiled when her angel clapped for her. He even spoke that her song had been perfection. When he helped her out of the small boat, she clutched his hands until she was steady. "Thank you.. I had a wonderful tutor." She caught his gaze and was instantly enthralled while staring in to them. They were striking.. they felt as though they were piercing in to her soul. "angel.. this is your home? You've made it quite beautiful.." her eyes had drifted for a long moment before catching his gaze once more. "Thank you for sharing this with me."

Erik gave her a small smile again as she said that his home was beautiful. That was what he had attempted to achieve after all. He wanted a place so beautiful that his monstrous side could not be seen amidst the beauty. "Yes child, this is my home." He moved up the staircase that was nearby and stood by his pipe organ. "I am happy that you think it beautiful."

He seemed to have everything. All of the comforts that a man would need to live out an entire life.. And yet, he wasn't a man..he was an angel. At least, that's the impression she was under. However, she was starting to question it in the back of her mind.. if he was an angel..why would he live here like this? "Angel...do you have a name? You've never spoken it to me.. you've only ever come to me when I've called for my angel of music. Surely.. surely you must have something else that I could call you."
