Ziggy chuckled again and took a small sip before waving a well manicured hand at David. "Just because I'm skinny doesn't mean that I can't hold my drink." He smirked before settling himself more comfortably in the bar stool. "Trust me, I've been drinking long enough to know my limits, and those limits are rather high."

David nodded his head and began to look around the bar, suddenly out of remarks about the current topic they were discussing and finding no means to start up a new conversation. He gazed at the very few wall hangings around the small pub before finally running out of things to look at as well.

Ziggy watched him, noting that he was obviously trying to find something to say. "You on the other hand, have had a bit to drink, I wouldn't want to send you off out into the world while you're inebriated. Rabid fans could be lurking anywhere. I can call my driver and you can spend the night at my flat."

David chuckled and moved to stand as he spoke. "I am quite capable of getting myself home thank you." As he took a step forward however, the room began to spin and he stumbled a bit, not realizing before just how much the alcohol was effecting him. He grasped at the back of a nearby chair, ceasing his movement and chuckling again. "On second thought, you might be right."

Ziggy chuckled and stood, helping to steady the man. "I'll give my driver a call." Ziggy said, a faint smirk on his lips. "Wouldn't need you getting lost or hit by a car on your way home. The fans would be disappointed." Not to mention that he would be disappointed as well. Ziggy helped David sit back down and pulled his cell out of a hidden pocket in his jacket before pressing a button and putting it to his ear. He turned away from David and spoke into it for a few moments before hanging up and turning back. "He'll be here shortly."

David nodded and sat back in the chair, taking a couple deep breaths as his head began to spin along with the room. "I think it's all just finally catching up to me. I hadn't realized I'd had that much. Woo!" he said, reaching across the bar an grabbing a handful of nuts from a nearby bowl.

Ziggy chuckled at the man's actions and finished off his gin and tonic easily. "That tends to happen." He said with a smirk. "A few more and I'd be as buzzed as you are." He cocked his head to the side. "Though I think that you're more tipsy than buzzed at this point."

David nodded and let out a small chuckle. "You're right. I'm definitely not that far gone yet. I just haven't drank in a while and I suppose what little I had is just getting to me a lot faster than expected. I used to be able to toss 'em back no problem. But, then again, I am no longer 23." David shoved the handful of nuts in his mouth, chewing them slowly and allowing the salty flavor to cover his tongue.

Ziggy smirked and nodded. "You and me both mate, I wish I was twenty-three again." Ziggy stretched lithely and smirked as he contemplated having another gin, but he decided against it. One of them should at least be somewhat sober, and David most certainly was not.

David smirked and nodded, gently rubbing his temple with two of his fingers. He reached over and grabbed some more nuts out of the bowl, carefully selecting each one before placing it in his mouth and chewing. "You're closer than I am, that's for sure." he said, a slight snicker escaping his mouth at his last remark.
