Belle allowed him to tend to her face, his fingers gently wiping the tears from her eyes and cheeks. She took a deep breath and allowed her head to fall back, making slight contact with the wall behind her. When he offered his help, her head shot up again. "You....you would," she paused, shocked and flattered all at the same time. "You don't even know me. You would do that?"

"I do not need any more children wandering about. It is self preservation to ensure that you do not end up accidentally wishing away the child in the future." He handed her the handkerchief. "Besides, I am stuck here until we fulfill your wish, and no woman should have to go through pregnancy alone."

Belle suddenly came to realization that what she had wished for was not Jareth himself. Her wish had been that she didn't have to do this all by herself, and the fact that she had been reading Labyrinth at the time explain why Jareth was there in the first place. "I think I've figured out why you're hear." she said softly, sniffling a little and taking deep breaths to try and calm herself. "And I apologize for being so emotional."

"You are pregnant, you are allowed to be emotional." He helped her back into her desk chair gingerly and cocked a brow as the other thing she said registered. "And what would that be?" He was truly curious, as he was stuck here unless there was an absolute crisis back in his Labyrinth.

Belle had finally gotten herself together and sat down properly in her chair. "For me not to be alone in this." she said simply, resting back against the high back of the chair. She put her had on her stomach and rubbed it a little, before looking at Jareth again. "I think you're hear to help me."

Jareth blinked and nodded. "I do suppose that makes sense." He watched her stroke her stomach and smiled a bit. "Still to early to know what sex it is." He murmured. "Though I am sure that you will be excited no matter what it turns out to be." Suddenly he realized something. "I don't believe that I caught your name."

Belle smiled when he started talking about the baby. While she was upset that she no longer had Rumple, she had always wanted to be a mother. While the situation was a strange one, it had happened. She couldn't wait for this baby to come. She nodded in agreement as he spoke and then turned her head to look at him when he asked her a question.

"Belle." she said sweetly. "My name is Belle."

If it was possible Jareth paled a little. "Belle? As in from the enchanted forest Belle?" Oh this was not good. Not good at all. If she was THE Belle that would mean that her husband was Rumplestiltskin. Oh this was a mess. If that sorcerer found his way back here, Jareth would probably end up dead.

Belle looked at him with confusion. "You....you've heard of me?" she asked, wondering how that could be possible. She wasn't really to well known in the forest, so why would she be in other realms. Then it hit her.

Oh, gods.

Her panic level began to rise. She took another look at Jareth, his face strewn with concern. "Oh, gods." She winched a little. "Y-you know my husband don't you?"

Jareth nodded, the black streaks returning to his hair. "He's an old....friend. Enemy. I don't know which to call him. He came to me for help a long time ago, while you lot were still in the enchanted forest. Something about needing a child to create a spell to get his son back. I refused."

The nauseous feeling in Belle's stomach returned, this time not due to her mourning sickness. Every new thing she heard about Rumple's past made her sick. How could she have been so blind? Did she really think that he would over come the sickness that laid in his heart? "Oh." she said simply, hoping he would catch the upset tone to her voice. "I wasn't aware that people from our land were affiliated with you in any way."

Jareth shrugged. "I stole away a few bastard children from royal families in your land." He noticed that she was sounding upset. "I will not mention your husband anymore. I can see that it pains you, and stress is not good for the baby." He waved his hand and summoned a cup of tea before handing it to her. "Here."

Belle nodded her head and chuckled when he offered her the tea. She took it gently from his hand and smiled up at him. "Thank you." she said, taking a small sip of it before bringing it down to rest in her lap. "How did you know I was in the mood for tea?"

He shrugged. "Tea is calming, and you need some calm right now." He crossed his legs at the ankles and looked around the library, his focus falling on the little red book once more. "It is strange, that damned book dictated so much of my life, and yet here it is, completely normal."

Belle chuckled and smiled as she took another sip of tea. "It's probably not as correct as you think. There's a book about me as well, and trust me it is nothing compared to my actual life. Yes, I will admit, there are definite similarities. But, my actual life is very different."
