He shook his head and waved one hand in front of him. "Not at all." He watched her carefully. There were a few colors that his hair made that made absolutely no sense, conventionally speaking, so he waited eagerly for her to start the guessing game.

Sarah thought quietly for a few moments, going over the colors in her head and trying to figure out which would be best to start with. Blue, Black, Red, Pink, Orange, Purple, Green. She looked up at Jareth, his hair dulled down now with only faded streaks of blue. She studied his face for a moment, extremely confused. Blue was usually related to sad or upset. Why in the hell was his hair blue when he was smiling?
Sarah chuckled and smiled up at him, kicking her feet gently over the floor of her room. "Well the pink is definitely embarrassment." She said, pausing momentarily to see if his hair would change. "And I think the blue means you're happy." After uttering the last sentence, Sarah was suddenly flooded with memories of the ball, and the fact that Jareth's hair had been painted with blue streaks the entire time they were together.

Jareth watched her think, his hair still streaked through with faint streaks of blue. He smiled a bit when she mentioned pink first, and of course she was right on the money. HIs hair shifted slightly, the blue becoming brighter. "You would be absolutely right." He was surprised however when she moved on to blue next. She was right, the blue did mean happiness. "You're right again." He watched her face change slightly, and he half wondered if she was thinking back to the ball as well.

Sarah smirked to herself when she remembered how much he had been smiling and how prominent the blue in his hair had been. She remembered how he had sang to her and how the entire world seemed to blur around them as they danced. She shook it off and tried to remain on subject. "Um," she said, the smile still hanging on her lips. Ok. Black, Red, Orange, Purple, Green. She tilted her head to the side a bit, as if the movement would help her think. "Well red could mean that you're angry." she said, raising her hand a bit. "But, then again, so could black."

He gave a small smile. "Red is anger." He shrugged. "Most of them are rather straight forward, blue simply happens to be my happy color as it is my favorite." He watched her, attempting to gauge her thoughts. Had she been thinking of the ball as well? It seemed as though Jareth could not get it off of his mind, and every single time he closed his eyes he could see her in the dress that he had crafted for her, looking as radiant as ever.

Sarah nodded, the smile still painted on her face. She couldn't stop. She simply couldn't and it was confusing her. Images of her and Jareth twirling about the ballroom together kept flashing through her mind, and were distracting her. After a long silence, Sarah remembered that she had been part of a separate conversation. "Um," she said again, now sounding a little redundant. Black, Orange, Purple, Green

Jareth watched her carefully. She was acting distracted...he would give anything to be a mind reader at that moment. "Come now, not that many colors left." He continued watching her, the blue slowly fading from his hair. He was sure that she was not thinking of the ball, she made it very clear that she could not stand him, and yet...here she was, playing a guessing game with him.

Sarah twisted her nose up and pursed her lips, racking her brain for what the four remaining colors could signify. She repeated them again in her mind, nodding her head as each one floated through her subconscious. Black, Orange, Purple, Green. "Does green mean you're sick?" she asked, wondering if it was even possible for him to get sick.

He chuckled and shook his head. "I can get sick, but sick is not an emotion Sarah." He thought for a few minutes, should he try and get her to guess again? Or should he just tell her? He decided to tell her straight out and he looked at her carefully. "Green is a color that you will most likely never see. To put it simply it only shows when I am scared."

Sarah nodded, still slightly distracted and only half listening to what he was saying. Her mind still swam with visions of them dancing, and an ache appeared in her stomach that she could not place. "Um, I," she said, shaking her head again. "I'm sorry. I'm getting distracted. Um," she thought for a few more seconds before speaking again. Black, Orange, Purple. What in the hell? "I don't know what the others could possibly mean." She couldn't seem to place any of the remaining colors with emotions. She was almost certain that this task would have been much easier if her mind wasn't focused on other things.

Jareth watched her, and he decided that he would give anything at that moment to be able to read her thoughts. She seemed incredibly distracted, by something. "Orange means that I am anxious." He said simply. "Black is sadness, in all of its forms, and purple, while it can be created if I am happy and embarrassed at the same time, also occurs when I..." He trailed off. That emotion was a little too mature for her, or perhaps not... "Well, I suppose you could label that one as ecstasty."

Sarah giggled a little and couldn't help but smile. She raised her hand to her mouth, covering it as she laughed. The laughter was not that of hilarity, but of embarrassment and nervousness. She wasn't used to boys, or men for that matter, saying anything even remotely close to the subject of sex. "You mean when you're horny?" she asked, slightly uncomfortable saying the word.

Jareth flushed, the color instantly traveling to his hair. He didn't expect her to laugh about it, and he assumed that she was laughing about the last one, and he was proven right almost instantly. "Yes, I suppose you could say that." He shrugged and then cleared his throat before turning his gaze to the floor.

Sarah stopped chuckling slowly, her mind still filled with thoughts of the ball and her mind reeling. She shifted slightly on the bed, as if she had planned to stand, but stopped just before her feet hit the floor. Did she dare? I have to know. She stood finally and began to step slowly towards him a nervous look on her face. "If you don't mind," she began very shakily, ringing her hands in front of her. "I want to try something."

Jareth looked up at her, his head cocked to the side. The pink faded from his hair completely as he looked up at her. She seemed to nervous, and suddenly so small as she stood before him. "I do not mind." He said simply, wondering what had gotten into her so suddenly.
